Pottery Thrown Down at Choplet Studio

Sidewalk Sale & Pottery Throw Down & "This Must Be The Place", Ceramic work by Rachel Covert, in Choplet Gallery
Choplet's Pottery Thrown Down will be held in the garden from 1-5pm. There will be 3 challenges, each an 1.5 hour long. Challenges will be picked out of a hat and participants will decide how to complete the proposed project on the spot! There is no fee to participate but we ask that participants come with a piece of pottery valued at $30 as a buy in for each challenge. The winner of each challenge will win the ceramics from that round & have their piece fired for free.
Clay will be provided. Open to Members and Non-Members Alike.

In the Choplet Gallery, Rachel Covert's "This Must Be the Place', Covert Ceramics explores the concept of creating home by transforming uniform objects into altered shapes, much as we do with the spaces that surround us. The show will be on view until September 13.
